What to do right now
- Shut off the water. Your main shut-off is usually where the line enters the house (often in the garage or on an outside wall) or in the meter box by the street.
- Turn off the water heater if the leak is on the hot side, or if you've shut off the main.
- Kill the power to any area where water is near outlets or appliances, if you can do it safely.
- Call us at (480) 225-5257. Tell us what's happening and we'll talk you through the next step.
- Take photos for your insurance company.
If you smell gas: leave the house, then call Southwest Gas or 911 from outside.
